Pre-oders for the iPad start at 5.30 AM PST on Friday March 12, Apple PR told TUAW. Thats 8.30 AM forEast Coasters. Better set your alarm clocks. All models of the iPad will be available for pre-order, but only the Wi-Fi model will ship on April 3. The 3G model wont be available until late April.
